What causes Insomnia-factors and sleep disorders

"Exogenous (non originates in the body) causes of insomnia are a new set of environmental conditions. These conditions include noise or loud noises, condition/unfamiliarity of the bed, bedroom temperature, any type of sleep medications. These conditions may disappear soon, as soon as the body becomes accustomed to the new set of conditions, except for drugs. In the case of medicines, our body develops a sort of dependency. This means that if you take pills or medicine to go to sleep at night, it will be harder for you to go to sleep without taking one.

Loud noise in your neighborhood or a dog barking at your own home can make you restless overnight if you are not accustomed to it. If you sleep on a bed uncomfortable, can also cause insomnia and sleeplessness. The bed on which you sleep must be comfortable and the spine should be in a comfortable position so that the body can easily go to rest. The temperature of your bedroom should not be too hot or too cold. It will be difficult for your body to maintain the calm state of mind and body, in case you sleep in a warm and humid conditions.

Insomnia causes also include internal diseases or problems with the body. These include waiting for sleep, mental disorders such as stress, depression and anxiety.

Mental conditions such as stress is one of the main causes of insomnia. An exhausted and overloaded mind cannot go to sleep easily. In thinking about at school, work, family and health makes it difficult to go to sleep. Human life is full of various kinds of stressful situations. Death or illness of a loved one, divorce or job loss can cause a lot of stress.

Prescribed medications for other disorders of the body can also cause insomnia. Certain drugs used for blood pressure, heart or prescribed antidepressants may interfere with your sleep at night. Some painkillers or weight loss products may contain caffeine, which is a stimulant.

Bad eating habits like excessive intake of alcohol and cigarettes can also cause insomnia. Alcohol is a depressant and can have a relaxing and calming effect on your brain, but that occurs only when you drink certain doses (one or two). If you go beyond certain doses, which will have a negative impact on your sleep and will result in frequent Awakenings during the night. Similarly, cigarettes contain a stimulant called nicotine. Many smokers find smoke relaxing, but it's just psychological. Any substance containing a stimulant can help with sleep. It only can disturb sleep. Drink coffee late in the evening is also a major cause of restlessness or insomnia at night. Coffee contains caffeine, a stimulant. Being a stimulant can cause mental and physiological arousal. Stimulants increase mental and physical readiness so it is good if you're going to do some work that needs high level of physical and mental readiness.
