Shift work sleep deprivation: why need to ban the Snooze button

As a sleep deprived of shift workers were already trying to take an extra ten or fifteen minutes to sleep by rolling over and press to the Snooze button on the alarm clock?

Now would I you be honest with me here, because I would say 99% of the workforce shift are vulnerable to the lure of the Snooze button!

But did you know that the Snooze button feel more tired you can get actually?

Sound a little strange?

Well considering that most of us are awake feeling, as we have had absolutely no sleep, when we work shift work, the temptation can become the Snooze button too tempting to turn on. Because without sleep for too long causes fatigue, drowsiness, and can even lead to a decrease in vigilance and lack of coordination.

In fact, some people can suffer also headaches and muscle pain, and become very irritable when they get not enough sleep.

So what has to do with the Snooze button on your alarm clock?

Also, essentially, the alarm interrupts your sleep cycle and your brain can conclude not his repair and rejuvenation. And if the not bad enough, if you go ahead and hit the Snooze button, your brain is an other sleep cycle only to be interrupted again when the alarm goes off a second time.

Now don't get me wrong - in today's hectic world we throw away not just our alarm clock and wake up, to which sounds Twitter birds and sunlight which streaming on our face. Although this is a very attractive offer, as I'm sure you would agree.

The harsh reality is that a shift clock. Without we would never make if ever there in the work on time!

But it is important to realize that when your alarm goes off - you must get up immediately. Shift work hampered with your sleep cycle - is without a doubt, but even worse feeling hitting the Snooze button.

Of course, this is sounding way is too hard, then try positioning alarm clock path of your bed, so that you actually, out of the bed to get to turn it off! It is much harder and less so enticing for you to crawl back under the blanket and sneak in, the little extra snooze time.
